Welcome to Standon Village Hall Website

Our Village Hall has been part of the Standon and Puckeridge village life for nearly 100 years. The hall was donated as a gift in the early 1900s by Mr & Mrs le Blanc-Smith in memory of their son.

It is held by Standon Parish Council under Deeds dated 1919 as a public charitable trust for the purpose of a Village Hall, Reading Room and a Place of Entertainment and Instruction for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Standon and the neighbourhood.

Our hall has been used over the decades for village user groups looking to use a facility that is reasonable in price and central to the people that it serves.

The Management of the Hall has been delegated by the Parish Council to a Committee of Management.
